The Honmoku City Pool is another pool that has been familiar to the people of Yokohama for many years. It was built in 1969 together with Honmoku City  Park, where the pool is located. The large fountain in the center of the pool shoots water up to a height of more than 10 meters when the time comes. There are also a children's pool and a toddler pool, so families with children are welcome. There are also two 20-meter lanes and two 15-meter lanes that look like slides. The overall atmosphere of the public pool is retro, but in 2015 the Aquatube, which is popular in Europe and the United States, made a splash when it was introduced.

To get there, take a bus from JR Negishi Station and get off at the Honmoku Shimin Koen-mae stop. Open from July 9 to September 4 (2016, open all year round during this period). Opening hours are 9:00-17:00 (admission and ticket sales until 16:00). Admission is 800 yen for adults and 200 yen for children (3 years old and up to junior high school students).
