What is Sounyan?
Sounyan is a new breed of cat that lives along the Sotetsu (Sotetsu) Line.
He joined Sotetsu in 2014 as a public relations officer, and engages in a variety of activities to help people learn more about and like Sotetsu!

What made them decide to perform together
Kumamon, a local character from Kumamoto, and Sounyan, a familiar face in the Yokohama area. They share the same desire to "create more enjoyable memories" for travelers, and this collaboration was born out of that desire!
This is a special room where characters with different personalities from faraway Kumamoto and Yokohama cooperate with each other to bring happy times beyond the region.

■Points to note when staying in the collaboration room
All of the room amenities are so cute that you'll want to take them home with you, but we ask that you use them in your room. Please do not hang from the bathroom straps.

Sounyan and Kumamon regularly enjoy sunbathing. It was very hot this summer, so they might have gotten a little sunburned...
