During this hot season, you may be worried about the heat and sun when walking around town.

"THE YOKOHAMA FRONT," a complex facility that opened on June 20, 2024 at the west exit of Yokohama Station, is just a short walk from Yokohama Station via the pedestrian deck. The 43-story building will house a residential complex, a clinic, SOTETSU HOTELS THE SPLAISIR YOKOHAMA, which will include hotel rooms and serviced apartments for long-term stays, as well as a variety of restaurants.

DUMBO PIZZA FACTORY

If you are looking for a place to enjoy freshly baked Neapolitan pizza, this is the place to go. The restaurant's interior, inspired by a pizzeria in the DUMBO district of Brooklyn, New York, has a sophisticated, urban atmosphere.

Upon receiving an order, the pizza chefs expertly stretch the dough and bake it in a high-temperature oven to make the edges fluffy and the surface crispy and savory.

The creamy richness of buffalo mozzarella gives the "Buffalo Margherita" a delicious aftertaste. Fruity and refreshing craft beer is perfect for this still hot season.

Along with the pizza, we recommend the the "Insalata Dimare" (seafood salad), which is refreshingly fresh with lemon and vinegar oil.

The size of the Neapolitan pizza is a whopping 28 cm! It is good to share with a group. Pizza can be taken out. When you visit "SOTETSU HOTELS THE SPLAISIR YOKOHAMA," it would be elegant to take out the pizza and enjoy it in your hotel room.

JIN DIN ROU HANARE Yokohama Front Tsuruya-cho Branch

A famous restaurant of xiaolongbao that originated in Taiwan and has its main branch in Ebisu. At the Hanare branch, which offers a special menu that is one rank above the rest, you can taste the premium ingredient truffle xiaolongbao. When you open the lid of the oven, you will see the freshly made "truffle xiaolongbao " with a puff of steam!

The freshly made xiaolongbao are so hot that it is best to put them on a bamboo stick, tear the skin with chopsticks, and taste the soup first. Truffles are kneaded into the red bean paste, and then placed on the xiaolongbao just before they are steamed, allowing you to enjoy even the aroma of the truffles.

"Hirata Ranch Sangen Pork with Black Vinegared Pork and Selected Vegetables" is decorated with summer vegetables. Tender and juicy sangen pork is mixed with rich Taiwanese black vinegar with reduced acidity to create an elegant taste. It goes well with white wine or sparkling wine, which is recommended during the hot season!

Tired from the heat? Let's blow off the heat with beer!

This is a beer hall directly operated by Yokohama Bay Brewing, a craft beer manufacturer. You can enjoy a total of 24 types of beer on tap, including more than 10 types of original beer and more than 10 types of guest beers, including brands from breweries in Shizuoka and Yamanashi.

Large and small size glasses are available to match the characteristics of the beer. If you can't decide which one to order, you can order a small size and compare them!

～After ordering, a glass is filled to the brim and the beer is poured～"Yuzu Weisse", which won a gold medal in the world's most prestigious beer competition in 2024, is the restaurant's top choice! It has a rich fruity flavor made with yuzu grown in Kanagawa Prefecture.

The popular food menu item is "Singapore Chicken Rice". The mouth-watering Daisen chicken breast and Kyushu chicken thigh are tossed with two spicy sauces. The ginger-flavored jasmine rice is also addictive.

It was another extremely hot day, and people arrived one after another. The restaurant has both a counter and tables. During weekday lunch hours (11:30 am -2:30 pm), the beer menu offers a 100 yen discount on large sizes and a 50 yen discount on small sizes! Drinks are served Last order 10:30 pm, so be sure to stop by after work.

Hanayori Cafe

The concept is a space surrounded by water, light and flowers. Enjoy parfaits and waffles made with seasonal fruits.

The counter tables have a waterway with water running through it, create a refreshing atmosphere. Ordered menus are numbered by table number and are carried in the waterway in a shimmering motion.

The summer-only "Melon Bubble Waffle" is a crispy outside and fluffy inside waffle topped with pear and grape cake, blueberry ice cream, lemon-flavored macaroons, and plenty of whipped cream.

The "Mango Journey Parfait" is topped with ripe mangoes and cute mango macaroons. Mango rare cheesecake appears under the soft-serve ice cream, making it a satisfying meal.

Box seats are popular, so it is advisable to make a reservation.
