牛肉麺 (Beef Noodle)

Beef noodle soup is one of Taiwan's most exquisite gourmet specialties. It is a noodle dish similar to Japanese udon noodles, made of wheat flour and served in a broth made by slowly simmering beef meat and bones. While it is a popular street food, it is also widely loved by the locals, as evidenced by the presence of Michelin-starred restaurants.
The noodles vary in thickness and seasoning depending on the restaurant, but can be divided into two main types. There are two main types: "Hong Xiao," a spicy soy sauce-based soup with hot bean sauce and other spices, and "Qing Tung," a salt-based soup with a lighter flavor. 炸彈蔥油餅 (Green onion cakes）

Negipu cakes, also known as "Green onion cakes," are made by kneading a mixture of flour and thinly sliced green onions and baking them into thin strips, and are a popular breakfast or snack dish found at many Taiwanese food stalls. At the "Green onion cakes" stalls, the green onion cakes are deep-fried at a high temperature and served hot. There are two types: normal and with a half-boiled egg, but the one with egg is recommended. "Handshake drink" are handheld takeout drinks. Starting with the nationally popular tapioca milk tea", Taiwan has a mountain of drink stands selling colorful drinks that are pleasing to the eye and can be enjoyed at a much more reasonable price compared to prices in Japan.
