Best Sightseeing Spots Around Kayabacho Station

Kayabacho Station is located in Chuo Ward, in the area of Ginza, Nihonbashi, Yaesu, Tsukiji, Tsukishima and Harumi. The Tokyo Metro Kayabacho Station is served by the Hibiya and Tozai Lines, and because of its proximity to the Kabutocho area, there are many securities firms and the headquarters of many major companies located in the area. Tokyo Station

Tokyo Station is Japan's most popular terminal station, with approximately 3,000 train arrivals and departures per day (including Shinkansen) and the largest number of platforms in Japan. In addition to its size, the Marunouchi Station Building is an Important Cultural Property and a valuable historical landmark. There are also numerous shopping facilities in the area, so you could spend a whole day here and never get bored.


Access: From Kayabacho Station, take the Tokyo Metro Tozai Line for two stops. Or walk about 20 minutes.

The Tokyo Stock Exchange

The Tokyo Stock Exchange is the largest financial instruments exchange in Japan. At the "TSE Arrows" tour facility, you can see the Market Center with its impressive circular electronic bulletin board called a "ticker," and there is also a space for learning about securities and bonds, and stock investment experience corner. You can also take a guided tour if you apply in advance.

Hibiya Park

Hibiya Park was created in 1903 as Japan's first Western-style modern park. Hibiya Public Hall, Hibiya Open Air Concert Hall, tennis courts, small restaurants, and more are located in the park. Flowers bloom throughout the year, making it a place of recreation for those who work in the business district.


Access:  from Kayabacho Station, take the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line for 5 stops, about 8 minutes to Hibiya Station.
             Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line and Chiyoda Line to Kasumigaseki Station, just a few minutes away
             Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line, Chiyoda Line, and Toei Subway Mita Line "Hibiya Station"

Tokyo Takarazuka Theatre

The Tokyo Takarazuka Theatre is the home of the Takarazuka Revue Company in Tokyo. The entrance is covered with a red carpet, and the shining chandeliers create an elegant space. Lots of performances are always held throughout the year.



Access:  From Kayabacho Station, take the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line for 5 stops, about 8 minutes to Hibiya Station.

Tsukiji Outdoor Market

The Tsukiji Outdoor Market is located in Tsukiji Market, the largest market in Japan, and is lined with shops that sell not only fresh fish but also food and beverage products, allowing the general public to enjoy shopping freely. There are about 400 shops in the entire market. It is a great place to find fresh, inexpensive food.

Tsukiji Market was relocated to Toyosu in October 2018, but the Outdoor Market will remain in Tsukiji.



Access: From Kayabacho, take the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line to Tsukiji Station, which is two stops away and takes 4 minutes.

Tokyo Character Street

Tokyo Character Street, located on the first basement floor of the Yaesu North Exit of Tokyo Station (Tokyo Station Ichibangai, B1 North Street), is a collection of stores featuring popular characters such as Hello Kitty, Rilakkuma, Ultraman, and Precure, in addition to the official stores of TV stations. More than 30 shops line the street, and sometimes you can find limited-time character stores and events.


Access:  2 stops from Kayabacho Station on the Tokyo Metro Tozai Line. Or 20 minutes on foot.

              Direct connection to Yaesu Exit of JR Tokyo Station
