Jishu-Jinja Shrine
Located on the north side of the main shrine of Kiyomizu-dera Temple,
Jishu-Jinja Shrine is also known as a place where the god of marriage lives in. In the precincts of the shrine, there is a pair of guardian stones called "stones of love fortune-telling". It is said that if you start from one of the stones and walk to the other stone with your eyes closed, your love wish will come true. Access: Take city bus 206 or 100 from JR/Kintetsu Kyoto Station, or city bus 207 from Hankyu Kawaramachi or Keihan Gion Shijo Station, get off at Gojozaka or Kiyomizu-michi, and walk 10 minutes.
Yasui Konpiragu
Yasui Konpiragu Shrine is famous for "match-making". The shrine is also known as a power spot because of the benefits of wishing to break bad relationships and make good ones. To make a wish, you must first pay your respects at the main shrine and then receive an offering called a "katashiro".
