Changes in Terms and Conditions

Thank you for your continued patronage of Sotetsu Hotels.
We are pleased to announce that on September 28, 2022, we have made some changes to the following terms and conditions.
The main changes are the modification of some statements in accordance with the revision of the Personal Information Protection Law that went into effect on April 1, 2022, and the addition of a statement regarding customers residing overseas (Taiwan).

The revised terms and conditions can be found below.

［Sotetsu Hotels & Sotetsu Hotels Directly Managed Hotels Privacy Policy］
Main changes
・The description of "To the customers who are residents of Republic of China (Taiwan)" has been added.
・Sotetsu Grand Fresa and Sotetsu Hotels Partner Hotels have been added to the "Indication of the Hotel Group" section.

*Directly managed hotels are those operated by Sotetsu Hotel Management Co., Ltd.
*The privacy policy of ”Hotels operated through franchise and partnership agreements with Sotetsu Hotel Management Co., Ltd.” is the following "The privacy policy of hotels operated through franchise and partnership agreements with Sotetsu Hotel Management Co., Ltd.”

Main changes
・Addition of a new section "2. Purposes of use of personal information" regarding the purpose of use.
・"4. Retention period of personal information" and its details have been added.
・Details of "6. Disclosure of personal information to third parties and joint use" have been added.
・"8. Security Control Measures" and its details have been added.
・The description of "To the customers who are residents of South Korea" has been added.
・The description for "To the customers who are residents of Republic of China (Taiwan)" has been added.
・The "Indication of the Hotel Group" and its details have been added.
・Some wording has been corrected.

[WEB TERMS OF USE]
Main changes
・The description of "Sotetsu Hotels Partner Hotels" has been added.
・We have added a new section "5.Disclosure of personal information" on "Article 16. Handling of Personal Information".
・We have added a link to our Privacy Policy at the end of Article 16, Handling of Personal Information, as well as a description of "For Guests Located in the Republic of China (Taiwan)".
・In addition, we have revised some of the wording of the contents of this document.

［SOTETSU HOTELS CLUB Membership agreement］
Main changes
・The "Collection and Use of Personal Information" section of Article 11 has been updated to include a reference to the Personal Information Protection Law and the provision of personal information to a third party.
・A link to our Privacy Policy and a description of ""For Guests Located in the Republic of China (Taiwan)" were added at the end of Article 11, "Collection and Use of Personal Information".
・In addition, we have revised the wording of some of the contents of this document.
