Accommodation Terms and Conditions

Article 1: Scope of Application

  • Section 1. The Accommodation Agreement and related contracts concluded between the hotel and guests shall be according to stipulations provided by these Terms and Conditions, and matters that are not stipulated by these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by laws and regulations, or generally established customs. 
  • Section 2. In the event the hotel presents any guidelines for use or precautions in relation to the Accommodation Agreement to the guest, such rules for use shall comprise a part of these Terms and Conditions, in addition to the Hotel Facilities Rules that are established by the hotel and made available in guest rooms.   
  • Section 3. In the event the hotel accepts a special agreement that is within the scope that would not infringe on any laws, regulations or customs, such special agreement shall take precedence, irrespective of stipulations provided by respective proceeding sections.

Article 2: Application for Accommodation Agreements

  • Section 1. In the event an application for accommodation is received by the hotel in advance, the hotel may request the hotel reservation applicant to clearly indicate following matters within a specific period:
    1. Name and telephone number (contact details) of accommodated guest.
    2. Accommodation dates and estimated time of arrival.
    3. Accommodation charges (according to the Basic Accommodation Charges described in Attached Table 1, as a general rule).
    4. Other matters deemed necessary by the hotel.
  • Section 2. In the event a guest, who is already being accommodated, expresses the desire to extend the duration of accommodation beyond the date indicated according to the accommodation dates described in Paragraph 2 of the preceding section, the hotel shall process such request as a new application for the Accommodation Agreement, at the time such an application for an extension is made.

Article 3: Establishment of Accommodation Agreements

  • Section 1. Accommodation Agreements shall be established at the time the hotel accepts the application described under the preceding article. This does not apply, however, in the event the hotel proves that the hotel did not accept such an application.
  • Section 2. In the event an Accommodation Agreement is established according to stipulations provided in the preceding section, the hotel requests that the application fee stipulated by the hotel be paid by the date specified by the hotel.
  • Section 3. The application fee paid by the guest shall be applied towards the accommodation charges payable by the guest at the final settlement of the account, then it shall be applied to penalty charge followed by compensations in the event any situation that is applicable to stipulations provided under Article 6 and Article 21 become applicable, and if there is any balance remaining, such amount shall be refunded at the time charges are paid according to stipulations provided under Article 13.
  • Section 4. In the event the guest fails to pay the application fee set forth in Section 2 by the date specified by the hotel according to the stipulations provided by the same section, the Accommodation Agreement shall lose its validity. This applies, however, only in the event the hotel notifies the guest about the payment date for the application fee specified by the hotel.
  • Section 5. In the event an application is canceled, the refund of the application fee as stipulated in Section 2 shall be according to laws and regulations of Taiwan.

Article 4: Special agreements That Do Not Require Payment of Application Fee

  • Section 1. The hotel may accept a special agreement that does not require payment of application fee after establishing the accommodation Agreement as described in Section 2 of the preceding article, irrespective of stipulations provided in the said section.
  • Section 2. In the event the hotel does not request a payment for the application fee upon accepting an application for the Accommodation Agreement as described in Section 2 of the preceding article, or in the event a payment date for such an application fee is not specified, the hotel is deemed to have agreed to a special agreement as described in the preceding section for the purpose of processing the matter.

Article 5: Refusal to Conclude Accommodation Agreements

The hotel may refuse to conclude an Accommodation Agreement in cases described below.

  1. In the event the Accommodation Application does not comply with these Terms and Conditions.
  2. In the event there is no guest room available due to full occupancy.
  3. In the event the individual seeking accommodation is deemed to potentially engage in an act that violates provisions of laws and regulations, or public order, or good morals in relation to the accommodation.
  4. In the event the individual seeking accommodation is deemed to correspond with any of the descriptions provided by items a to c below.
    a. The individual is an associate member of a crime syndicate, or an associate of a crime syndicate or any other antisocial forces.
    b. The individual is an entity that is a corporation or any other form of organization whose control or business activities are governed by a crime syndicate or a crime syndicate member.
    c. The individual is a corporation, with a corporate officer that corresponds to a crime syndicate member.
  5. In the event the individual seeking accommodation engages in a behavior that causes significant inconvenience to other guests.
  6. In the event the individual seeking accommodation is clearly recognized as having a contagious disease.
  7. In the event the individual seeking accommodation engages in violence, makes threats, engages in extortions, makes coercive and unreasonable demands, makes demands that causes burden that exceeds a reasonable range, or is recognized as having engaged in similar acts in the past, against the hotel or hotel employees.
  8. In the event providing accommodation is not possible due to natural disaster, facility failures or any other unavoidable reasons.
  9. In the event the individual seeking accommodation is determined to be drunk, or is found to be behaving in an extremely abnormal manner and is deemed to potentially cause inconvenience to other guests, or in the event such an individual has behaved in a manner that caused significant inconvenience to other guests, or in the event an action of such an individual corresponds to violations stipulated by laws and regulations of Taipei City.
  10. In the event the individual seeking accommodation is deemed likely to cause inconvenience to other guests by being extremely unclean or by wearing extremely unclean clothing.
  11. In the event the individual seeking accommodation makes a reservation for the purpose of secretly engaging in activities intended for gaining personal profit or to profit a third party, such as “selling goods and the like” in the booked room or within the hotel.
  12. In the event the individual seeking accommodation does not comply with provisions of these Terms and Conditions, or does not comply with the cancellation policy and payment policy at the time the reservation is made.

Article 6: Agreement Cancellation Rights of Guests

  • Section 1. Guests may cancel an Accommodation Agreement at any time, by notifying the hotel.
  • Section 2. In the event a guest cancels all or part of the Accommodation Agreement due to reasons attributable to the fault of the guest, the hotel shall charge a penalty charge.
    In the event the hotel has accepted a special agreement as set forth in Section 1 under Article 4, however, this shall apply only if the hotel had notified the guest regarding the obligation for paying a penalty charge for canceling the Accommodation Agreement.
  • Section 3. The hotel reserves the right to deem an Accommodation Agreement canceled by the guest and process it accordingly, in the event such a guest does not arrive at the hotel by 10 PM on the day of accommodation (in the event the arrival time is clearly specified in advance, then two hours past such time) without contacting the hotel.

Article 7: Agreement Cancellation Rights of Hotel

  • Section 1. The hotel may cancel an Accommodation Agreement in cases described below.
    1. In the event the guest is deemed to potentially engage in an act that violates provisions of laws and regulations, or public order, or good morals in relation to the accommodation, or is deemed to have conducted such an act.
    2. In the event the guest is deemed to correspond with any of the descriptions provided by items a to c below.
      a. The individual is an entity that is a crime syndicate, or is a member of a crime syndicate, or an associate member of a crime syndicate, or an associate of a crime syndicate or any other antisocial forces.
      b. The individual is an entity that is a corporation or any other form of organization whose control or business activities are governed by a crime syndicate or a crime syndicate member.
      c. The individual is a corporation, with a corporate officer that corresponds to a crime syndicate member.
    3. In the event the guest engages in a behavior that causes significant inconvenience to other guests.
    4. In the event the guest is clearly recognized as having a contagious disease.
    5. In the event the guest engages in violence, makes threats, engages in extortions, makes coercive and unreasonable demands, makes demands that causes burden that exceeds a reasonable range, or is recognized as having engaged in similar acts in the past, against the hotel or hotel employees.
    6. In the event providing accommodation is not possible due to reasons caused by natural disaster and other such force majeure.
    7. In the event the guest is determined to be drunk, or is found to be behaving in an extremely abnormal manner and is deemed to potentially cause inconvenience to other guests, or in the event such an individual has behaved in a manner that caused significant inconvenience to other guest, or in the event an action of such an individual corresponds to violations stipulated by laws and regulations of Taipei City.
    8. In the event the guest smokes in the guest room, tampers with fire fighting facilities and the like, or does not comply with other prohibited matters stipulated by the Hotel Facilities Rules (applicable only to matters that are necessary for fire prevention).
    9. In the event the individual seeking accommodation makes a reservation for the purpose of secretly engaging in activities intended for gaining personal profit or to profit a third party, such as “selling goods and the like” in the booked room or within the hotel.
      In the event an application is made with the secret purpose of serving the objectives for the benefit of a third party.
    10. In the event the individual seeking accommodation does not comply with the Hotel Facilities Rules set forth in Article 10, or if such an individual engages in any activities prohibited under Article 11, or fails to comply with any other stipulations of these Terms and Conditions, or fails to comply with the cancellation policy or the payment policy at the time the reservation is canceled.
  • Section 2. The hotel shall not charge for accommodation services and the like, which have not yet been provided to the guest at the time the Accommodation Agreement is canceled according to the stipulations provided by the preceding section.

Article 8: Registration of Accommodation

  • Section 1. Guests are requested to register following information at the front desk of our hotel on the day of their accommodation.
    1. Matters described in Section 1 under Article 2
    2. Persons who do not have a resident permit in Taiwan may be requested to submit a copy of passport, made by scanning or the like, and may also be asked to verify nationality, passport number, disembarkation location, border entry date, in addition to the registration described in the preceding section.
    3. Departure date and planned departure time
    4. Other matters deemed necessary by the hotel
  • Section 2. In the event the guest intends to make the payment for the accommodation charges as stipulated under Article 13 using a traveler’s check, accommodation voucher, credit card or the like instead of cash, such a guest is requested to present such method of payment that can replace cash in advance at the time of registration as described in the preceding section.

Article 9: Time of Guest Room Use

  • Section 1. Guest rooms are available for use by the guest from 3 PM to 11 AM the following morning.
    In the event the guest is accommodated consecutive nights, the guest room shall be available for use all day, except for the arrival day and departure day.
  • Section 2. Irrespective of provisions stipulated in the preceding section, the hotel may respond to a request for using the guest room outside the time stipulated by the said section.
    In such a case, the following additional charges shall be applied.
    1. 300NTD per hour per room until 2PM
    2. Total amount of accommodation charge for a day after 2PM

Article 10: Compliance with Hotel Facilities Rules, etc.

While within the hotel, accommodated guests are requested to comply with rules for use presented by the hotel.

Article 11: Prohibited Activities

  • Section 1. Guests are prohibited from conducting the following activities, on their own or through a third party:
    1. Acts of registering or providing false information for using the hotel
    2. Acts of using payment methods such as credit cards fraudulently for using the hotel
    3. Acts of fraudulently acquiring or using personal information of a third party or Sotetsu Hotels member benefits and the like
    4. Acts of using the hotel for business purposes without permission from the hotel
    5. Acts of making and canceling accommodation reservations in large quantities, or similar acts
    6. Acts of making and canceling accommodation reservations repeatedly without any justifiable reason, or similar acts
    7. Acts of impersonating the hotel or the hotel group, or acts that cause misunderstanding on the part of others that such acts are actually carried out by the hotel or the hotel group
    8. Acts of unauthorized access to systems and other communication facilities, or similar acts
    9. Acts of transmitting or loading harmful communication programs or the like, or similar acts
    10. Acts of removing, defacing or damaging equipment in accommodation facility, or similar acts
    11. Acts of making demands that exceeds a range that is socially acceptable, abuses, slanders and threats to harass the hotel or hotel employees, as well as making inflammatory posting on social media and the like to obstruct the operation of the hotel or acts that damage the reputation and brand of the hotel or the hotel group, or similar acts.
    12. Unreasonable demands made to the hotel or hotel employees through violence, threats and extortions and the like
    13. Acts that cause inconvenience, damage or disadvantage to other guests and other third parties, the hotel or the hotel group, or acts that are deemed to potentially cause such issues
    14. Actions that infringe on copyrights, trademark rights and other intellectual property rights, as well as privacy, personal rights and other rights of other guests and other third parties, the hotel or the hotel group, or acts that are deemed to potentially cause such issues
    15. Acts that violate public order and morals, criminal acts, acts that violate laws and regulations, or acts that are deemed to potentially cause such issues
    16. Demonstration of power based on a crime syndicate or the like, or acts that assist or support such actions
    17. Acts that violate these Terms and Conditions or any other provisions
    18. Other acts that violate stipulations of the Hotel Facility Rules, etc.
    19. Other acts deemed inappropriate by the hotel
  • Section 2. The hotel reserves the right to charge the guest to compensate for damages caused when any damage is sustained by the hotel due to acts described in the preceding section.

Article 12: Operating Hours

  • Section 1. The operating hours of principal facilities, such as the front desk or cashier and the like shall be as described below, while detailed operating hours of other facilities are indicated on pamphlets provided, as well as bulletin boards at various locations, service directory available in guest rooms and the like.
    1. Curfew for main entrance: Open 24 hours daily
    2. Front desk: Open 24 hours daily
    3. Cashier: 24 hours daily
  • Section 2. Hours described in the preceding section may be changed temporarily, due to unavoidable circumstances. An appropriate method shall be used to notify our guests in such instances.

Article 13: Payment of Charges

  • Section 1. Details of accommodation charges and the like payable by guests are as listed in Attached Table 1.
  • Section 2. Payment for accommodation charges and the like described in the preceding section shall be made at the front desk, at the time guests arrive at the hotel or when invoiced by the hotel, using the currency of Taiwan, or traveler’s checks approved by the hotel, accommodation vouchers, credit cards and other alternative methods of payments.
  • Section 3. Accommodation charges are payable by the guest, even when the guest arbitrarily decides not to stay for accommodation even after the guest room is made available and usable to the guest.
  • Section 4. In the event the hotel offers accommodation plans that include breakfast, lunch and dinner, or additional services and if there is no particular stipulation regarding the matter for such plans, then the full amount shall be charged even to guests who choose not to dine or use such services.

Article 14: Responsibilities of Hotel

  • Section 1. The hotel shall compensate guests for any damages sustained in the course of fulfilling the Accommodation Agreement or any related contracts, or due to unfulfillment thereof.
    This does not apply, however, in the event such damages are caused by reasons that are not attributable to the responsibility of the hotel.
  • Section 2. The responsibility of the hotel to provide a guest room to a guest starts at the time the check-in registration is completed by the guest at the front desk of the hotel and ends at the check-out time limit.
  • Section 3. The hotel has purchased a hotel liability insurance to deal with the unlikely event a fire occurs at the hotel.

Article 15: Handling of Instances When Guest Room of Accommodation Agreement Cannot Be Provided

  • Section 1. In the event the hotel is unable to provide the guest with a guest room for which the guest had concluded an Accommodation Agreement, the hotel shall, with the consent of the guest, arrange for accommodation at another accommodation facility, as much as possible with same conditions.
  • Section 2. Irrespective of stipulations provided by the preceding section, in the event the hotel is unable to arrange for another accommodation, the hotel shall pay the guest a compensation charge that is equivalent to the penalty charge, and such compensation charge shall be applied to the amount of damages. The hotel shall not pay such compensation charge, however, in the event the hotel is unable to provide a guest room due to reasons that are not attributable to the responsibility of the hotel.

Article 16: Handling of Deposited Items, etc.

  • Section 1. In the event any article or cash (applicable only when verified by our personnel at the front desk) or valuables deposited by a guest at the front desk are lost, harmed or otherwise damaged, the hotel shall compensate for such damages, except in cases of force majeure. In cases of cash and valuables, however, the hotel shall compensate for damages of up to 12,500 NTD as the limit, in the event the guest did not declare the types and values of such articles when asked by the hotel to do so.
  • Section 2. In the event any goods or cash and valuables brought into the hotel by our guests, which had not been deposited at the front desk, are lost, harmed or damaged intentionally or through gross negligence of the hotel, the hotel shall compensate for such damages. The hotel shall compensate for damages of up to 12,500 NTD as the limit, in the event the guest did not declare the types and values of such articles in advance, except when such damages are caused intentionally by or through gross negligence of the hotel.
  • Section 3. The hotel is unable to accept any deposit of articles, such as artworks, antiques and other easily damaged items.

Article 17: Storage of guest baggage and personal effects

  • Section 1. In the event baggage of a guest arrives at the hotel prior to the accommodation, the hotel shall take responsibility for such articles and store them, provided that the hotel had consented to receiving such articles prior to their arrival, and they are handed to the guest at the time of check-in at the front desk.
  • Section 2. In the event any baggage or personal effects are left behind at the hotel after the guest has checked out, the hotel shall wait for the owner to contact and provide instructions to the hotel, as a general rule. In the event no instructions are provided by the owner, or if the owner cannot be identified, articles that include valuables and items that include personal information shall be submitted to the local police station within seven days of discovery, while all other items shall be disposed of after holding them for three months from the day of discovery. The same shall apply to any article that is not accepted by the police. Food and beverages that are detrimental to hygienic environment, as well as cigarettes, magazines and the like shall be disposed of on the same day.
  • Section 3. Luggage stored in self-lockers are held only during the accommodation, as well as on the day of the use. Lockers may be accessed without notice, in order to verify safety.
  • Section 4. In terms of the responsibility of the hotel for the storage of luggage or personal effects of guests in cases described by the preceding three sections, stipulations of Section 1 of the preceding article shall apply for the case of Section 1 and stipulations of Section 2 under the same article shall apply for the cases of Section 2 and Section 3.

Article 18: Cleaning of Guest Rooms

  • Section 1. The hotel shall clean guest rooms once after every fourth night of accommodation for the purpose of maintaining a hygienic environment, even when the guest has expressed that cleaning is not necessary. The hotel reserves the right to clean guest rooms at any time, if deemed necessary by the hotel. Furthermore, the hotel may gain access to guest rooms even on days other than cleaning days, for the purpose of guest room maintenance, legal inspections and emergencies.
  • Section 2. The guest shall not have the right to refuse cleaning of guest rooms described in the preceding section.

Article 19: Communication Equipment

  • Section 1. Guests shall use communication facilities within the hotel at their own risk. The service may be interrupted or suspended without advance notice, due to system failure or other reasons. The hotel bears no responsibility whatsoever in the event guests sustain any type of damage due to service interruptions arising from system failures or from any other reasons, while using communication equipment.
  • Section 2. In the event any guest engages in acts that are deemed inappropriate by the hotel in relation to the use of the communication equipment, which can potentially lead to the hotel or a third party sustaining damages, or if such acts have actually caused damages, the hotel shall request such guest to cease the use of such service and shall charge compensation for damages sustained.

Article 20: Responsibilities for Parking

In the event a guest uses the parking space made available by the hotel, the hotel and the management of such parking space affiliated with the hotel only consent to the guest using the parking space and do not bear any responsibility regarding the management of the vehicle, irrespective of whether any key for such vehicle has been deposited.

Article 21: Responsibilities of Guests

  • Section 1. In the event the hotel sustains damages (including but not limited to repair expenses of facilities, loss of sales opportunities and the like) arising from intentional acts or through gross negligence of a guest, such guest is required to compensate the hotel for such damages.
  • Section 2. The hotel does not bear any responsibility for accidents that arise due to the guest failing to comply with the Hotel Facilities Rules.
  • Section 3. Guests are requested to comply with all policies set forth by the hotel from the instant they check in, and further requested to take all belongings with them when leaving guest rooms for check-out.

Article 22: Disclaimers

The hotel shall be exempted from responsibilities, when any specific stipulations of these Terms and Conditions, as well as stipulations provided by other Hotel Facilities Rules, are applicable.

Article 23: Notification to Police, etc.

  • Section 1. In the event a need arises to protect rights, properties, services and the like of other guests and the hotel due to a guest violating provisions of these Terms and Conditions or other Hotel Facilities Rules, the hotel shall implement all appropriate actions, including contacting the police and other such authorities.
  • Section 2. In the event the hotel determines that there is a serious impact on the health, life or the like of a guest, the hotel may request for emergency transport of the guest, with or without consent of such a guest.

Article 24: Change of These Terms and Conditions

  • Section 1. Guests are advised that the contents of these Terms and Conditions may be changed without notice. Verify the latest information, which is posted on the official website of the hotel.
  • Section 2. In the event a guest uses the hotel after changes of these Terms and Conditions have been implemented, such a guest is deemed to have agreed to details of such changes.
  • Section 3. Irrespective of the preceding section, the Accommodation Agreements concluded prior to the implementation of such changes to the Terms and Conditions shall be subject to stipulations prior to such changes.

Article 25: Separability

  • Section 1. Even in the event a part of these Terms and Conditions or other Hotel Facilities Rules is determined to be invalid based on laws and regulations, these Terms and Conditions as well as other Hotel Facilities Rules shall remain effective, except for such portions that have been deemed invalid.
  • Section 2. Even in the event a part of these Terms and Conditions or other Hotel Facilities Rules is determined to be invalid or canceled based on a given relationship with a specific guest, these Terms and Conditions as well as other Hotel Facilities Rules shall remain effective, except for such guests with whom they have been deemed invalid.

Article 26: Preferred Language

The official document of these Terms and Conditions as well as other Hotel Facilities Rules shall be written in Chinese. Even when these documents are translated and made available to our guest for the purpose of referencing, the original documents written in Chinese shall remain the only effective documents and translated documents shall not have any validity whatsoever.

Article 27: Consultations

In the event a problem arises in relation to the use of the hotel that cannot be resolved by applying these Terms and Conditions and the like, the hotel and the guest shall engage in a mutual consultation with good faith to resolve such an issue.

Article 28: Governing Law and Competent Court of Jurisdiction

  • Section 1. The Accommodation Agreement concluded between the hotel and the guest shall be governed by the laws of Taiwan.
  • Section 2. The district court or the summary court with jurisdiction over the location of the hotel shall have the exclusive jurisdiction for disputes (including court arbitration procedure) that arise between the hotel and guests in relation to the Accommodation Agreement.

Remarks

  • The percentages described represent rates of penalty charges with respect to Basic Accommodation Charges.
  • In the event the number of days in the agreement is reduced, a penalty charge equivalent to one day (first day) of accommodation shall be applied, irrespective of the number of days that was reduced.
  • Penalty Rules stipulated separately by the hotel may be applied for Accommodation Agreements relating to accommodation plans offered to group guests (ten persons or more) and accommodation plans offered on the internet. In such instances, the relevant penalty rules shall take precedence over these Terms and Conditions.

[Hotel Facilities Rules]

Guests are required to comply with these Hotel Facilities Rules, in order to ensure the public nature of the hotel, as well as safe and comfortable accommodation of guests. The hotel may refuse to continue providing accommodation or use of facilities in the hotel if a guest does not comply with these rules. Guests may be required to bear expenses when facilities, equipment and the like in the hotel are damaged.

<Prohibited Matters>

  1. Do not use guest rooms for purposes other than accommodation, without permission.
  2. Do not handle fire for heating or cooking in guest rooms and in corridors and other common areas.
  3. Smoking is prohibited throughout all buildings of the hotel, except for locations that are designated for smoking, due to relevant regulations. Furthermore, guests are requested to refrain from smoking outside designated locations.
  4. Use the lobby for meeting visitors. Guests are requested to refrain from inviting visitors to guest rooms.
  5. Do not move facilities and fixtures in the hotel or guest rooms from their designated locations, without permission.
  6. Do not change or modify apparatuses and equipment from their original conditions in the hotel and guest rooms without permission.
  7. Do not enter back yards, machine rooms, emergency stairways (except in emergencies) and other locations designated specifically for staff members.
  8. Do not bring into the hotel any items described below.
    a. Dogs (except for assistance dogs), cats, birds and other animals, pets in general
    b. Articles that generate foul or strong odor
    c. Articles in quantities that exceed a reasonable amount
    d. Firearms, swords, etc.
    e. Gunpowder, volatile oil and the like that are easily ignited or flammable
    f. Other articles that are deemed to threaten safety of other guests
  9. Do not cause discomfort or inconvenience to other guests by raising your voice, singing, or engaging in acts that involve significant vibration or noise and the like.
  10. Do not engage in gambling and acts that violate public order and morals, as well as security in the hotel and guest rooms.
  11. Do not distribute advertisements or promotional materials, or engage in sales of goods and business activities and the like, without permission.
  12. Do not distribute leaflets and the like, or engage in signature collection activities, political activities, religious activities, hold meetings or exhibit the power of groups or organizations, or engage in any acts that assist or support such actions, without permission.
  13. Do not arrive on or park vehicles with particular appearances, advertisement vehicles, modified vehicles and other such vehicles that are deemed by the hotel to cause anxiety or inconvenience to other guests.
  14. Do not leave any personal effects in corridors, the lobby or the like.
  15. Taking of photographs and videos that may cause inconvenience to guests is strictly prohibited in the hotel and guest rooms.
  16. Do not use any photograph or video and the like taken within the hotel for any commercial purposes to the public, without permission from the hotel.
  17. Assaults, causing injury, intimidations, threats, fraud, business obstructions and coercive unreasonable demands and other similar acts are prohibited.
  18. Do not engage in any other acts that are deemed inappropriate by the hotel.
 

<Precautions>

  1. The articles deposited for storage are disposed of after three months from the day of deposit as a general rule, unless specified otherwise.
  2. In the event a need arises to protect rights, properties, services and the like of other guests and the hotel due to behavior of a guest, the hotel shall implement all appropriate actions, including contacting the police and other such authorities.
  3. In the event the hotel determines that there is a serious impact on the health, life or the like of a guest, the hotel may request for emergency transport of the guest, with or without consent of such a guest.
  4. In the event a room key is lost and cannot be found until the check-out, a fee of 300 NTD shall be charged as a reissue charge at the time of check-out.

 

<Individuals that are refused service>

  1. Entities and individuals that correspond to those described below.
    a. A crime syndicate, a member of a crime syndicate, an organization affiliated with a crime syndicate, as well as associate of such entities
    b. A corporation or any other form of organization with business activities controlled by a crime syndicate or a crime syndicate member
    c. An antisocial organization, antisocial organization member or individual associated with such entity
  2. Individuals with mental deterioration, having an identity crisis due to drug use or the like, and others that find securing of safety for themselves difficult and may potentially cause danger, fear or anxiety to other guests
  3. Individuals that do not immediately stop acts for which the hotel has cautioned, in relation to the “Prohibited Matters” described above
