Guide to "Tax Refund" benefit for official website reservations
Thank you for always using SOTETSU HOTELS THE SPLAISIR SEOUL MYEONG-DONG.
We are pleased to announce that tax refunds are now available for hotel stays at SOTETSU HOTELS THE SPLAISIR SEOUL MYEONG-DONG from January to March 2026!
■ Applicable Period
Hotel Stay Period Standard: From January 1, 2026 to March 31, 2026 (until check-out)
*Stays with check-in and check-out dates within this period are eligible
Examples: Check-in on March 30, check-out on April 2 → Not eligible
■ Eligible Guests
Guests who have made reservations directly with the hotel through the official website or by phone, and who meet the following conditions:
• Foreigners staying in Korea for less than 6 months (non-Korean nationals)
• Those departing Korea within 3 months after check-out
• Stays up to 30 nights (stays of 31 nights or more are not eligible)
※ Not Eligible
• Payments made with corporate credit cards
• Payments made under Korean national names
• Stays in the "Splaisir Suite" room type
※Important Notice
• Tax refund procedures cannot be completed after returning to your home country.
• Previous tax refunds cannot be claimed during your next visit to Korea.
■ Overview of the Tax Refund System and Refund Method
The tax refund system allows customers to apply for a tax refund before returning to their home country, refunding the amount of consumption tax paid minus a handling fee.
1.Receive the necessary documents for application at the hotel front desk upon check-out.
2.Please prepare the necessary documents and your passport, and choose one of the following three methods for the refund procedure:
① Receive at the airport counter (cash refund available)
② Receive at the KIOSK in the airport (cash refund available)
③ Apply and receive through the "EXIMPay+" app (bank transfer)
※ There may be waiting times for procedures at the airport.
