Notice of Accommodation Tax Implementation

Thank you for your continued patronage of SOTETSU HOTELS.
SOTETSU GRAND FRESA KUMAMOTO hereby informs you that an accommodation tax will be introduced in accordance with Kumamoto City's ordinance.

[Tax Effective Date]
Effective for stays beginning Wednesday, July 1, 2026

[Accommodation Tax Rate]
・JPY 200 per person per night will be levied
※Children sharing a bed with their parents (preschool-aged children) who incur no accommodation charges are exempt from this tax.

[Payment Method]
Payment is due directly at the accommodation facility upon check-in.
Please note that guests who have prepaid their stay must still pay the accommodation tax separately.
